Sober Curious Coaching

The conversation around sobriety is changing. No longer do you have to be at rock bottom or identify as as alcoholic to make a decision to explore a life of drinking less or not drinking at all. You can be, but you don’t have to be. The antiquated belief that if you explore sobriety and then drink that you have to start back at square one is outdated, unsophisticated and defeatist. Every moment is an opportunity to make a decision to live a more mindful life, a healthier life. Every experience, both positive and negative, is intel we get to bring into informed future decisions.

We move past shame and regret and make choices aligned with truth and joy.

We embrace that growth is not a linear path.

We can decide to stop drinking or over drinking for the health of it.

We can decide to stop because we are tired. Or tired of feeling like shit.

We can decide to stop drinking or over drinking because it no longer is aligned with a clear and mindful life.

We can stop drinking or over drinking to role model for our children, friends, community.

We also can decide to stop drinking or over drinking simply because we want to. Full stop. End of sentence.

We don’t even have to know why.

We get this one life. May it be one of which we are proud and aligned with our truest self.

You make your own goals. You do not have to quit drinking entirely unless you want to. This process is about exploring our habits and deciding which ones serve us and which ones no longer do.

I offer monthly group sessions and do one on one coaching. Please reach out to explore the best fit for you.

Groups are run monthly via zoom and the cost is $200 payable via Venmo @jocelynsolomonyoga. The only requirement is an open heart and mind. We make our own rules and hold one another accountably with love, kindness, truth, compassion, and humor. Could you do this alone? Maybe, but unlikely. Why not elevate your game with support?

My groups are currently closed, but I am available for the more personalized, one on one coaching. Please reach out to inquire. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I promise.

TESTIMONIALS

“Joining Jocelyn’s weekly sober curious groups was life-changing. I don’t say that lightly. I have been alcohol-free for over a year now. If it was not for Jocelyn I would still be stuck in a cycle of weekend drinking and Sunday morning regrets. I have learned so much about alcohol’s effect on the body and mind. Most importantly, I have learned that I am not alone.” W., badass woman and mama of two amazing kids

“Jocelyn’s weekly groups are more than just meetings for the sober curious. They’re communities; sisterhoods. A place to vent, to soul search, to be vulnerable, to celebrate. Jocelyn steers the discussion with intuition and insight (and some serious badassery), leaving everyone feeling equally supported and seen.” R., deeply creative, courageous mama

“Jocelyn has created the safest, smartest gathering groups for women who want to look at leaving a relationship with alcohol. The brilliance of Jocelyn is that she always calls hard things hard and is a champion of honesty, but ALWAYS believes in the strength we each have to unlock our own experience, making the journey of living alcohol free a celebration of our humanity, ability and wholeness.” A., the still water woman who runs so deep

“Jocelyn’s bold and unapologetic love for a life lived in truth spoke to a part of me that was ready to be inspired. I was sober curious for sure, but also very anxious to make that commitment. I’ve actually learned that alcohol lit up my anxiety horribly, disrupted my sleep profoundly and harmed my body in ways that I won’t let happen again. I will be forever grateful for this steady, graceful, badass human for creating the space to jump into an AF life. Jocelyn helped me see past my trepidation at the edge. Turns out I can swim more than fine and the thrill and joy is real.” A., powerhouse working mama
